Welcome to Dearne Valley Walking Group
Dearne Valley Walking Group was formed on April 13th 2009 by Terence Rowland, originally as a Facebook group to tell his family and friends about his walking exploits. This has since grown into an independent walking group. The walks we enjoy are open to everyone and we currently have approximately 80 active participants. Find out more about us here

DVWG are aware that rising fuel costs may make it harder for some people to attend our walks.
Except during COVID‑19 restrictions, we have always encouraged car sharing, especially for walks that are further afield.
We would like to make the most of car‑sharing opportunities at this time to help reduce travel costs for everyone if we can and keep good participation.
